Our purpose
United American Corporate is an independent U.S. company research directory at uscorporate.com. It helps visitors connect company names to public information and official registries. We are not a government agency, registration authority, rating agency or licensing body.
What the directory covers
The current search index contains 5,044 distinct SEC filers with a reported business location in one of the 50 U.S. states or Washington, D.C. The index was retrieved on 2026-10-07 from the SEC’s CY2026Q2I U.S. GAAP assets dataset and matched to the SEC ticker list where available. The location filter describes the reported business location, not necessarily the jurisdiction of incorporation.
This is a subset of public SEC records. It does not cover every U.S. company, every SEC filer or all private businesses. Inclusion depends on an entity appearing in the selected assets frame with a qualifying U.S. location. A filer may be incorporated outside the U.S. while reporting a U.S. business location; its profile shows its reported incorporation jurisdiction when available.
The registry directory links to official portals for all 50 states and Washington, D.C. These are external links, not a combined database of state registration records.
Sources and methodology
- SEC assets frame (CY2026Q2I): source for indexed names, identifiers, locations, reported assets and balance-sheet dates.
- SEC company ticker list: stock symbols matched by CIK; a ticker is not a separate legal identity.
- SEC submissions API: company details, industry description, addresses, former names and a selection of recent filings.
- NASS corporate registration directory: official registry destinations, with selected entry links updated.
Each indexed SEC entity has a permanent page keyed by its CIK. Details come from the dated source snapshots included in this package. Where a detailed snapshot is not included, the page displays indexed information and links to the official source. Company names and classifications are retained as reported; they may differ from a business’s marketing name.
Updates and limitations
The directory index is a dated snapshot. This hosting package contains dated data snapshots. It does not make live SEC API requests or update automatically. Open the official source links for current records. To update the directory, replace the source data and regenerate the HTML pages. Filing lists are limited selections; open EDGAR for the complete published history and newer filings.
Source records can be amended or contain errors. Addresses, officers, shareholders, licensing, registration status and incorporation dates are available only where the relevant source publishes them. A filing or active registration does not establish endorsement, solvency, authorization to offer financial services or investment safety.
Privacy and terms
This static version has no account registration, advertising trackers or marketing signup forms. Company searches run within your browser against the packaged dataset. Hosting services may process routine access and security information. This static code does not collect payment information or company claim submissions.
